Tony is our President ,the Supt of Apparatus and the "go to" guy for the West Haven Fire Department. Tony's skills and knowledge in fabrication and as a mechanic have made him a very needed part of keeping the WHFD fleet and equipment running. As most of you know, Tony recently retired from the New Haven Fire Department serving in the same position.
Dan serves as our Vice President and is a Mechanic for the Hartford Fire Department. His exceptional skill and knowledge also keeps the fleet and equipment up and running. Dan is also a volunteer for the Somers FD.
Jim works as a Mechanic for the Fairfield Fire Department. He works alongside Rich Demko, the past Secretary of the CFEMA, in maintaining the fleet and its equipment. Jims responsibilities include not only collecting dues, but managing the finances of the association. Jim also serves in the town of Trumbull as a volunteer.
Bill Spiegel serves as Manager of the Associations web site for the Association. Bill is a Recently Retired Career Firefighter for the West Shore Fire District in West Haven. Bill started as a Volunteer for West Shore in 1976 and he has been very active since then While Bill is not a mechanic, his interest is in maintaining and the servicing of apparatus and equipment. He has served on the last 2 apparatus purchasing committees for West Shore and continues to advance his knowledge in the servicing and maintaining of the apparatus and equipment where ever he can.
